Courteney, 59, played a concert-attending fan in the 1984 music video for Bruce Springsteen’s hit single, Dancing In The Dark.

In the video, directed by Brian De Palma (Carrie, Scarface, Mission: Impossible), Bruce, 74, invites the Friends alum to dance with him on stage.

Courteney, wearing a Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band tee, leaves the audience and dances alongside “The Boss” until the end of the video.

On Monday, Courteney showed off her vintage dance moves in a TikTok video captioned, “1980’s dancing… in the dark.”

The Scream star is shown wearing a zip-up hoodie while dancing to Smalltown Boy by British synth-pop band Bronski Beat with her arms held high above her head.

Text over the video read, “Asking my mom how she danced in the 80s.”

A few seconds in, Courteney shakes her head, rips off her hoodie as the record scratches, and reveals the same Bruce Springsteen shirt she wore in the 80s music video underneath.

Dancing in the Dark began to play as Courteney swung her arms and snapped her fingers, recreating her dance from the music video.

The TikTok was reshared on Instagram, where one fan excitedly wrote, “Seamless edit! My favorite thing I heard about this dance is that it also inspired Carlton’s dance in Fresh Prince and became a Fortnite dance. Inspirational moves CC!”

“Whoa! That’s awesome!” admitted another.

“Really?!?! Carlton’s dance is my favorite thing in the world. Then my kids. lol,” joked a third surprised commenter.

A fourth person remarked, “We all danced like that in the 80s.”

THE ‘CARLTON DANCE’

During an appearance on the Rich Eisen Show, Alfonso Ribeiro, 52, revealed his inspiration behind his Fresh Prince of Bel-Air character Carlton Bank’s famous dance.

“I had actually made fun of his dance before the show had started, he told Rich.

The Dancing with the Stars host continued, “The inspiration for that dance was Eddie Murphy’s White Man Dance, right? In his, I think it’s the Raw video.

“And then it’s Courteney Cox on the Dancing in the Dark video with Bruce Springsteen where he brings her up on stage and she does ‘The White Man Dance.'”

“Well, I was like, ‘Okay, I think this character would absolutely do The White Man Dance but he would do it differently.'”

EMOTIONAL TRIBUTE

Last month, Courteney celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Friends finale with a touching social media post.

The actress shared a throwback clip from the sitcom on her Instagram and gave a tribute to her cast mates and friends.

Courteney reminisced over the last scene of Friends to commemorate the special day.

In the scene, Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow, and Matthew Perry stood in Monica and Rachel’s iconic New York apartment.

Monica and Chandler left with their new baby at the end of the show.

“Do you guys have to go to the new house right away, or do you have some time?” Rachel asked while crying.

“We got some time,” Monica replied.

“OK, shall we get some coffee?” Rachel asked her friends.

“Sure…” Chandler replied slowly before he jokingly asked “Where?”

The cast then held hands and bowed on set while emotional music played and the crew clapped them.

Courteney, who played Monica, uploaded the clip with an emotional message.

“It’s been 20 years since the series finale of Friends. I don’t know how we were able to act through all the tears. Forever grateful,” she captioned the post.
