In a lengthy post, the TV presenter shared comments from the actor’s pickleball partner.
He wrote: “I spoke to the woman he played with this morning and every morning.
“She is in shock, adored Matt … she said he had been fatigued today and over the past week.
“A little more than usual. He played for one hour, then went home.”
Billy noted in his post that Matthew played the sport “every day and sometimes twice. It regulated his days.”
TRAGIC PASSING
News broke that the Fools Rush In star had died on Saturday at the age of 54.
An early report suggested that Matthew drowned and was found unresponsive inside a jacuzzi at his home in Los Angeles, according to TMZ.
He moved into the house just a few months earlier.
The actor caused concern from fans during the move, as photos showed him looking disheveled while sipping a Starbucks drink.
He was photographed looking troubled and tired while unloading a truck.
Matthew was dressed in casual clothes, including a baggy navy top, jeans, and sneakers.
Despite his addiction struggles, sources told the outlet that drugs were not found at the scene of his death and no foul play is suspected.
Matthew is survived by five younger half-siblings: Mia, Emily, Caitlin, Willy, and Madeleine.
