Premier League giants Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are tracking Fulham’s Manor Solomon and his former Maccabi Petah Tikva president believes the Israel international may be a £100 million footballer, speaking to Sport5.

At what stage to we start to call him the ‘reverse Robben’? Just five days after cutting inside onto his right foot and whipping a sumptuous shot into the back of the Wolves net, Solomon pulled out his party piece again as Fulham knocked Leeds United out of the FA Cup.

If he was wearing dark red rather than bright white, and shooting off his left rather than his right, you’d be forgiven for wondering if you were watching Arjen Robben in his Bayern Munich pomp.

Solomon has now scored in each of his last four Fulham appearances; making up for lost time after a serious injury. The only problem is, the one-time Man City target is only on loan at Craven Cottage from Shakhtar Donetsk, Marco Silva expecting serious competition as he looks to tie down the winger on a permanent deal (The Standard).

Could Arsenal or Tottenham snatch Manor Solomon from Fulham?

“Stars like him can only be sold for millions abroad. These young players should go abroad at the age of 19 and 20, because this gives them a chance to reach the greatest levels,” says Avi Luzon, who knows Solomon from his time at Maccabi Petah Tikva.

“For me, he is worth 100 million. But if we are realistic, we can talk about 15 million.”

According to Ynet, Arsenal and Tottenham are among Solomon’s admirers. Spurs are reportedly scouring the market for young, left-sided forward; Heung Min-Son a shadow of his former self at the age of 30 (The Times).

“In recent years, he’s been working and improving,” Luvon adds. “Even in the national team, it took him a while to score.

“He’s a kid who, in every game and training session, thinks of how to improve. How to improve his finishing, his dribbling and his team play. He doesn’t score a goal or two and rest on his laurels.”

Luzon, meanwhile, would love to see another former Maccabi Petah Tikva starlet join Solomon in the Premier League. Liel Abada continues to go from strength to strength north of the border at Celtic.
