When is the UK release time for the Chris Rock Netflix special Selective Outrage? HITC investigates.
Some comedians can raise laughs like no other and we all have our favorites.
However, if Chris Rock isn’t on your list of the GOATs, maybe a certain Netflix special will change your mind.
The 58-year-old American stand-up comedian is known for such shows as Everbody Hates Chris and movies like Grown Ups. Speaking of movies, he hosted the Academy Awards in 2022 and was slapped by Hollywood actor Will Smith in a now infamous moment that went viral. The comedian had made a joke about the A-lister’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.
Looking back, Chris has had audiences laughing with such specials as Bigger & Blacker (1999), Never Scared (2004), Kill The Messenger (2008), and Chris Rock: Tamborine (2020). Now, he’s back to flex his comedic muscles with a new special called Selective Outrage, premiering live and exclusively on Netflix.
With that in mind, let’s get the Chris Rock Netflix special UK release time and date explained.

‘I heard Summertime ringing in my ears’
Chris has referenced the notorious Will Smith Oscars slap a handful of times.
“The thing people wanna know…did it hurt?” Chris reportedly said, as reported by the Evening Standard.
“Hell yeah, it hurt. He played Muhammad Ali! I played Pookie [in the movie New Jack City]. Even in animated movies, I’m a zebra; he’s a f***ing shark. I got hit so hard, I heard [the 1991 Will Smith song] Summertime ringing in my ears.”
Chris Rock: Selective Outrage begins premiering in the UK at 3 am on Sunday, March 5th 2023, exclusively on Netflix.
