CHELSEA Handler has thrown major shade at her ex Joy Koy during the Critics Choice Awards.
The popular comic made the pithy jab while hosting the award show just a week after Jo blamed the writers for his “bad joke.”

While mentioning the three-hour plus film Killers of the Flower Moon, Chelsea, 48, mentioned its famous director.
“Martin Scorsese isn’t here… but I’d toss him around like a little Italian meatball.”
After the audience chuckled at the jab, she added: “Thank you for laughing at that, my writers wrote that.”
Fans on X, formerly known as Twitter, were stunned with the joke as one wrote: “Chelsea Handler roasting Jo Koy is 10x funnier when you remember they literally dated for almost a year.”
Someone else replied: “The way I just gasped,” as a third shared, “Chelsea Handler killing it at the Critics Choice Awards with a joke shading Jo Koy (who is also her ex).”
“Chelsea Handler has done the monologue that Jo Koy should have done at the Golden Globes,” another said.
KOY VEY
This comes after viewers thought that Joy “bombed” his opening monologue for the Golden Globes.
The first-time host yelled “shut up” and blamed his writers after a Barbie joke was met with crickets.
Jo, 52, got off to a great start as the host of the 81st annual Golden Globes, making the room laugh with his hot takes on the biggest films of 2023.
He sweetly began: “I’m taking this all in. I’m just so excited to be here.”
The funnyman then fired away at the night’s most nominated films and TV shows.
He started with the massively popular movie Oppenheimer – which he had “one complaint” about.
Jo said it “needed another hour” and added “too much backstory.”
He then turned heads with a joke about the Barbie movie.
“Barbie was based on a plastic doll with big boobs,” he joked.
He added the “key moment” is when Barbie goes from perfect beauty to “bad breath, cellulite, and flat feet or what casting directors call character actor.”
There were no laughs, and Jo defended his joke: “Some I wrote, some others wrote.”
He snapped: “Yo, I got the gig 10 days ago you want a perfect monologue? Shut up.
“You’re kidding me, right? Slow down. I wrote some of these, and they’re the ones you’re laughing at.”
The host then turned his attention to actor Barry Keogan and asked: “Where’s your p*nis seated.”
Jo then mentioned actor and director’s Bradley Cooper’s prosthetic nose in Maestro, saying he “found it” on Cooper’s “face.”
The stand-up comic pivoted to discuss the TV show Succession and said: “If you’re a billionaire, pull out.”
He repeated the punchline multiple times: “Or leave it in, whatever.”
The comic continued to clarify that he “didn’t write all of these” as the audience barely laughed.
DATING HISTORY
Chelsea and Joy have been friends for decades, but began dating in 2021 and called it quits one year later.
Jo spoke to Page Six about their relationship status last July and praised Chelsea: “She’s crushing it right now, so I have nothing but the best love for her.”
From 2003 to 2013, the comedian was married to Angie King.
Jo met the singer-songwriter during the early days of his career.
Angie is a Filipina-American artist who also goes by the stage name Nura Luca.
Despite divorcing, the exes are still on good terms and co-parent their son.
Whether Jo is currently in a relationship or not is unknown, as he has not confirmed his relationship status.
