Find out why your Chat GPT is so slow and explore some potential fixes as many complain about the platform’s speed.
The world’s most advanced AI chatbot launched at the end of 2022 and has fascinated people ever since with its human capabilities.
Chat GPT interacts with you in a conversational way and can discuss and provide information on every topic imaginable.
It’s become hugely popular across the world and has all kinds of different uses, but it appears to be having some issues.
Many are reporting the platform is becoming very slow on Twitter which is causing huge frustration. If that’s you, this may help…

Why is Chat GPT so slow?
The artificial intelligence site could be slow for a number of reasons:
- There is high traffic and lots of people are using Chat GPT at that time.
- The platform is experiencing server errors.
- Chat GPT is trying to form a long answer to your query.
- You have a bad internet connection.
As well as the site being incredibly slow, many are also receiving a reoccurring Chat GPT ‘network error’ message which is causing irritation.

Try paying for Chat GPT Plus
If the site is consistently slow, you could try paying for the premium version of the AI chatbot.
It costs $20 per month and claims to give users faster response times than the free version, meaning it will no longer be so slow.
As well as that, Chat GPT Plus will give you more access even during peak times and priority access to new features and improvements.
There is currently a waitlist to get the premium subscription, but you may see a tab that says “Upgrade to Plus” on your account.
If you do, you can bypass the waitlist and subscribe to Chat GPT Plus.
