Chat GPT still appears to be having issues and many are reporting that their history is unavailable or not showing.
It went down on Monday (March 20) and Chat GPT temporarily disabled the entire website to fix the bug before putting it live again.
They said it was running as normal, but lots of people still seem to be having issues two days later, especially Plus members.
The artificial intelligence chatbot launched in November 2022 and amazed people with its ability to interact just like a human.
Lots of people use Chat GPT to write essays for them as it can communicate in a conversational way on every topic imaginable.

Chat GPT history unavailable
When trying to use the platform, many are receiving an error message that explains their chat history is not available.
“History is temporarily unavailable. We’re working to restore this feature as soon as possible,” the common message says.
Usually, the service displays your chat history so that you can continue past conversations at a later date, but it’s not working.
The chat history unavailable message appears quite often and isn’t a new bug, but many have been unable to see it for days now.
Frustration floods Twitter
Several users have been taking to Twitter to complain that the popular feature is down.
One person wrote: “I haven’t been able to access my history since yesterday. I’, also subscribed to Chat GPT Plus.”
“Is anyone else having trouble with Chat GPT’s history function? Or is it just me?” another asked.

A third person added: “Are we ever gonna get our Chat GPT history back I’m running a project out of mine.”
“Chat GPT’s history has been offline for a day now with no explanation,” someone else tweeted.
Others are urging the site to introduce an offline mode that means you can see your past history without the internet.
Other Chat GPT errors
Chat history being unavailable isn’t the only error people are getting this week.
Many are annoyed by an ongoing Chat GPT bad gateway issue which mostly seems to be appearing for Plus members who pay $20 a month.
The message says “the web server reported a bad gateway error” and is leaving people unable to use the chatbot at all.
Others are also reporting errors that say “at full capacity” and “/backend-api/bypass” and the platform hasn’t provided any fixes yet.
You could try verifying your email, logging out of your account and clearing your cache, but there are no guarantees this will fix the problem.
