Caitlin Clark is the undoubted star of Iowa, and college basketball, averaging 27.3 points per game. She also leads all players, men or women, with five triple-doubles this season – including her huge 41-point triple-double in the Elite Eight of March Madness.

The 20-year-old has emerged as the star of March Madness this year. For her efforts she was recently named the women’s college basketball’s National Player of the Year.
However, for her Caitlin’s dad Brent Clark, it wasn’t all that surprising.
“It’s about time”, he said.

“Needless to say it’s been a great journey so far,” he said. “Let’s just make it even greater.”
“It’s more than just an individual award. It’s really a team award… the assist element of the game is such an important element of her game, and you don’t achieve those assists without your teammates.”
What we know about Caitlin Clark’s parents
Clark comes from an athletic family. According to the Hawkeyes, website, “Eleven of Clark’s family members have played collegiate sports, including her dad, who played baseball and basketball at Simpson College, and her older brother Blake, who plays football at Iowa State.”
Caitlin Clark’s parents are Brent Clark and Anne Nizzi-Clark. Brent played basketball and baseball at Simpson College before transferring to Iowa State.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Brent Clark is the executive vice president at Concentric International, a company that makes equipment for agriculture, landscaping and construction companies. He graduated from Simpson College in 1988 with a degree in international management and business sales and marketing, according to his LinkedIn.
According to Hawk Central, Caitlin’s mom Anne’s family is from Italy. She previously worked in marketing and now helps her daughter’s career by leading strategic partnerships for CC22 Ventures LLC, a company set up for Clark to take advantage of her name, image and likeness under NCAA rules.
