Jim Beglin has praised Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah on Premier League Productions for his assist for Darwin Nunez’s goal in the opening minutes of the second half of the Premier League game against Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United at Anfield on Sunday.
Liverpool have got the better of bitter rivals Manchester United at home in the league today.
It was expected to be a tough affair, but Jurgen Klopp’s side had it so easy, especially in the second half.
Cody Gakpo scored in the first half.
And the Netherlands international forward found the back of the net for the second time in the 50th minute.
It was Egypt international forward Salah who provided the assist.
And former Liverpool star Beglin was impressed with the forward, noting how he destroyed United central defender Lisandro Martinez in the build-up to the goal.

Beglin said: “Brilliant by Salah. Taking it on is one thing but he’s turned Martinez inside outside.
“You have to admire the finish from Gakpo; he knows the goalkeeper is going to spread himself and it’s a beautiful little dink towards the far corner. It’s been a shocking defensive restart for Manchester United.”

Mohamed Salah is a world-class player, and he was superb for Liverpool against Manchester United at Anfield today.
The Egyptian has not had the best of seasons in the Premier League, but he showed today that he remains a lethal finisher.
Salah scored two goals and gave two assists.
Superb, absolutely superb.
