How many kids did Biggie Smalls have? A look into his family
Biggie was a father of two. His first child, T’yanna Wallace, was born on August 8, 1993 to the rapper’s long-time girlfriend, Jan Jackson. The couple had separated by the time of her arrival.
Wallace welcomed his second child, a son called Christopher ‘CJ’ Wallace Jr, with his wife Faith Evans on October 29, 1996.
Faith and Biggie tied the knot in August 1994 after meeting eight days prior at a Bad Boy Records photoshoot.
At the time of his death, the East Coast icon had split from Evans and was dating fellow rapper Charli Baltimore. CJ Wallace was just four months old when his father passed away.
Now 26 years old, CJ is an actor who made his breakthrough in 2009 by starring as a young version of his father in Notorious, the biopic based on his life.
Over the next 10 years, he appeared in seven more productions, including the 2010 comedy film, Everything Must Go, and four episodes of Scream: The TV Series.
He continues his father’s legacy by adopting the nicknames Lil Biggie, and Lil Biggie Smalls.
T’yanna, meanwhile, is an entrepreneur and owner of the clothing brand, Notoriouss Clothing. The company sells merchandise featuring graphics of her father’s portrait to remind the world of his legacy.
The 29-year-old is a mother to an infant daughter, who she shares with a man named Tyshawn Baldwin.
Where is Faith Evans now?
She was the first female artist signed to Diddy’s Bad Boy Records in 1994. By 2003, she parted ways with the label and signed with Capitol Records. The switch spawned her highest-charting album at the time, 2005’s The First Lady, followed by a Christmas record that same year.
With nearly three decades in the industry, she is an eight-time Grammy nominee for her R&B hits, including Gone Already, and Heartbreak Hotel featuring Whitney Houston and Kelly Price.
In recent years, Evans has been occupied with her TV and film career. She has appeared as a guest on several reality shows such as Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, RuPaul’s Drag Race, and Real Husbands Of Hollywood.
As for her personal life, Evans went on to marry record company executive Todd Russaw in 1998 after meeting through Missy Elliot. Their first son, Joshua, was born in June 1998 and their second child, Ryder Evan, was born in March 2007.
The couple separated in May 2011 and Evans tied the knot with producer and Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star Stevie J in July 2018. The record producer filed for divorce after three years of marriage.
