Benji’s life as a child star

Benji Gregory was born on May 26, 1978, in suburban Los Angeles, California.

He started his television career as a child in the 1980s, appearing in projects such as The A-Team, T.J. Hooker, Punky Brewster, The Twilight Zone and Steven Spielberg’s Amazing Stories.

He starred in Alf from 1986-1990.

Benji was a ‘lover of dogs’

Benji’s Instagram bio read, “Lover of dogs, traveling, late-night runs, music, podcasts, Navy, bipolar, major depression disorder, GAD, ALF, VR, Nike, Cinema 4D, Creative Cloud.”

He also frequently posted about his service dog, Hans.

Benji’s sister, Rebecca, asked for donations to The Actors Equity Foundation or the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) in his honor.

The ASPCA works to stop animal cruelty.
