Newcastle United want Shea Charles and the Manchester City talent has already received huge praise from a former Magpie.
Newcastle fans will be expecting major additions this summer, especially if Eddie Howe secures Champions League football.
Big money will be spent but Newcastle also want to add more young talent for the future.
We have seen that with moves for youngsters like Amadou Diallo and Jordan Hackett in recent times.
The latest name in the mix is Manchester City talent Charles.
The Daily Mail reported earlier this week that Newcastle are interested in bringing Charles to Tyneside this summer.
Brentford, Borussia Dortmund and Leeds United are also keen on Charles, who may fancy leaving City for first-team prospects elsewhere.

Shea Charles has been hailed by Michael O’Neill
Charles has yet to make his first-team debut for City but is highly-rated at the Etihad Stadium.
The 19-year-old has shown so much promise in the City ranks that he is already in the Northern Ireland national team picture.

Charles already has four Northern Ireland caps to his name and has been earning huge praise.
Manager Michael O’Neill – a former Newcastle midfielder in his playing days – has been blown away.
Speaking to BBC Sport after a win over San Marino in March, O’Neill heaped praise on Charles by calling his performance ‘magnificent’.
O’Neill hailed Charles for barely wasting a pass whilst even loving his display as a makeshift defender late in the game.
O’Neill added that he can’t really remember seeing a young player with the kind of temperament Charles possesses, seemingly playing well beyond his years.
“Shea was magnificent, I thought,” said O’Neill. “He broke the play up, he rarely wasted a pass. We put him in the middle of the back three for the last 15 minutes and he wasn’t fazed by that. His temperament for the game is as good as I’ve seen in a young player, to be honest,” he added.
Charles could soon end up following in O’Neill’s footsteps by signing for Newcastle.
O’Neill would surely recommend a move to Tyneside of Charles asked him for advice, and Newcastle could end up with a star midfielder of the future if they can pull off a summer deal.
