Speaking on Premier League Productions, Tim Sherwood has been discussing the race for the top four and Tottenham’s chances of qualifying for next season’s Champions League.
Spurs have been in terrible form as of late, but somehow, they find themselves fourth in the Premier League.
Tottenham are currently on course to finish in the Champions League qualification spots, but Sherwood says there’s one team he’s quite worried about ruining their party.
Indeed, the pundit says that he’s concerned about Liverpool coming up on the outside and pipping Spurs to the post, stating that the Reds have the necessary quality to put together a real run of results.

Liverpool could threaten Spurs
Sherwood spoke about the Reds potentially pipping Tottenham.

“They have got quality, they are underachieving. As a Tottenham man I’m looking over my shoulder at that top four and the worry is Liverpool. They are capable of putting a run together. At the moment I say stay a bit calm, they’re not the finished article and they need some results and ned to start winning away from home. If I looked over my shoulder at Tottenham, with the two games in hand, I’m looking over my shoulder at them more than any other team below,” Sherwood says.
Have the ability
Liverpool may be going through a truly terrible season, but make no mistake about it, they have the ability to change their fortunes.
Indeed, this is still the same group of players who came within a whisker of winning a quadruple last season, and if they can somehow make it click, they could challenge Spurs for a place in the top four.
Of course, putting together that sort of run of results is easier said than done, but if any team can do it, it’s Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.
