Arsenal fans were recently given reason to worry about Folarin Balogun as rumours about a potential exit arose.
The England Under-21 international is currently thriving on loan in France with Reims, where he has outscored Lionel Messi and Neymar in Ligue 1 so far with 15 goals in 25 appearances.
As a result, the Times claimed that Balogun is unlikely to be happy with a backup role behind Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah next season when he returns, as Dean Jones stated that Arsenal would take £50m for him.
Now – however – an Instagram post from the Hale End graduate suggests he is going nowhere.
What’s the story?
Well, a supporter made a compilation of Balogun’s goals while adding the caption: “Going to be like a new signing for Arsenal next year.”
The 21-year-old wonderkid then reposted that video on his Instagram story including the caption, suggesting he agrees with the notion that he will be at the Emirates Stadium next season.
It is not exactly a bonafide declaration that he will remain in north London – as anything can happen in football – but we thoroughly expect Balogun to be an important player for Arsenal next season.

Failing that, the New York-born sensation will at least secure himself a loan to an even bigger club than Reims, where he can put his vast talents to the test.
Whatever happens, we would be stunned if Balogun left Arsenal permanently, as rumours have suggested.
Arteta can make Balogun an Arsenal icon
Just look at how well Mikel Arteta has developed Bukayo Saka at the Emirates Stadium.
The England international is now the poster boy for Arsenal and has a worldwide reputation as one of the best footballers in Europe, largely thanks to Arteta’s coaching ability as well as his own immense talent.

Gabriel Martinelli, William Saliba and Emile Smith Rowe have also flourished under the Spaniard.
Therefore, with Balogun already outdoing superstars such as Neymar and Messi in France, we see no reason why he can’t become another Saka in north London.
