Anne Hathaway fans think star ‘hasn’t aged’ and say the 40-year-old is ‘stunning’ as she promotes The Idea of You

ANNE Hathaway has stunned fans with her youthful appearance in a new video.

The film star took fans behind the scenes of her promotional work on Instagram on Thursday.

In the video, Anne, 41, was filmed as she got ready for a talk show to promote her new romcom, The Idea of You.

Starting the clip, Anne was dressed casually as she looked through wardrobe choices in a huge closet.

“This is BTS for pre-glam… we want you here but we also just woke up,” she joked, as she hid her face behind sunglasses.

For her next step, the actress sat and had her makeup applied, with her hair already styled in flawless waves.

“He is very good at his job. You saw how I looked when I came in. He is very good at his job!” she gushed to her makeup artist, praising her transformation.

Finally, Anne picked out jewelry for her television appearance, and showed off her final outfit of skintight jeans, with a bright purple blazer layered over a black tank top.

The star then arrived on set alongside her co-star, Nicholas Galitzine, 29, both popping out to say “Hi” from behind the book their new movie was based on.

“Here is a bts of our content day for #TheIdeaOfYou.. now streaming on @primevideo!!! It was all made with love for you.  I hope you feel everything,” Anne wrote in her caption, along with heart and sparkle emojis.

In the comment section, one fan praised, “You are so beautiful.”

“Getting ready to watch it now!! Can’t wait! You are gorgeous,” said a second.

“Honestly, everything she wears looks stylish on this woman,” a third social media user wrote.

“Gurl you look STUNNING,” said a fourth.

“She hasn’t aged!” a final fan exclaimed.

TOO OLD FOR WHO?

Anne plays Solène in The Idea of You, a 40-year-old single mom who starts a romance with 24-year-old boy band member Hayes, played by Nicholas.

While the couple’s age difference plays a huge role in the film, fans struggled to see Anne in the older role.

In the trailer of the movie, Anne states “I’m too old for you,” as Nicholas tries to kiss her.

After the trailer was posted on Instagram, however, fans claimed that the duo looked the same age.

“‘I’m too old for you,’ Miss Anne Hathaway you look like you’re in your 20s,” one commenter wrote.

“Not Anne Hathaway looking 20 and saying she‘s too old for him,” a second echoed.

CHANGING FACES

While many fans have gushed over Anne, earlier this year she was accused of undergoing secret plastic surgery.

The star posed for cameras while at the front row of a fashion show in Milan, Italy, in February, and fans claimed she looked unrecognizable.

For the exclusive Versace runway, Anne wore a skintight red leather dress, paired with matching shoes and gold jewelry.

Fans were fixated on the star’s face, however, which looked unusually angular beneath her heavy makeup.

“Tell me Anne did not do buccal fat removal or something. She looks different here,” one person pleaded on Reddit.

“Something with her eyes is different. Maybe she had a facelift and the outer part of her eyes were pushed up,” a second noted.
