DEVASTATING details have been revealed about the untimely death of celebrity chef Anne Burrell.
The Food Network star was surrounded by dozens of pills when she was found unconscious on her shower floor.
Burrell’s husband, Stuart Claxton, found her at her home in Brooklyn, New York, on Tuesday.
It’s unclear if the pills played any part in her death, police said.
Police refused to comment on the report to The U.S. Sun.
When Claxton called 911 at the horrific scene, he told cops that his wife had suffered cardiac arrest.
However, Burrell’s cause of death hasn’t been determined.
News of her death shocked the food world earlier this week.
The chef, 55, was best known for starring on Food Network as the host of Worst Cooks in America.
Hours before her death, she had performed improv at a venue in Brooklyn, according to the New York Post.
She was last seen at 1 am that morning and appeared “in great spirits,” a witness told the outlet.
Burrell was seen smiling in her last social media post days before her death.
