DAYS from launching their new podcast, Good Morning America hosts Amy Robach and TJ Holmes have a secret weapon for their success, a PR expert says.
Robach, 50, and Holmes, 46, were let go from GMA3 earlier this year after their rumored affair became public in November 2022.

The duo announced their podcast via social media on November 1, nearly one year after their affair was exposed and just days before they ran the 2023 New York City Marathon together.
In their announcement, the couple seemingly teased the rumors that had been swirling around them since November 2022.
“How’s this for Instagram official? #silentnomore. ‘Amy & T.J.’ December 5th,” their caption read in part.
Then, in a follow-up post on November 29, Robach further teased that the couple would be sharing more about their romance upon the podcast’s launch.
“Why yes, we will be serving tea…” the post’s caption read.
Robach was likely referring to the fact that both she and Holmes were married to other people when their affair began in 2022.
Both have since divorced their respective partners.
Now, PR expert Eric Schiffer has said that Robach and Holmes’ podcast is the “best interim move” for the duo.
Schiffer, chairman of the Los Angeles-based firm Reputation Management Consultants, spoke exclusively to The U.S. Sun about Holmes’ and Robach’s new venture.
“It [the podcast] allows them to revive the spark of chemistry that so many were fascinated by as well as that interplay that they had which is powerful for audiences,” Schiffer said.
“I would expect them to do fairly well based upon the booking of guests and how well they distribute their message and promote it to get traction.”
‘MAINTAIN RELEVANCY’
Schiffer said the timing of the announcement and launch of the podcast make sense for multiple reasons.
“They still want to maintain relevancy and it may also be some restrictions being lifted on what they can’t do on their contract settlement,” he said.
“They’re probably released from competing issues per the settlement and they can now start promoting the future of their media empire.”

With the launch of the podcast, Schiffer said that as long as they play their cards right, this could be the start of Robach and Holmes building a brand together.
“They’re both very talented at what they do,” Schiffer said.
But the PR expert stressed that the duo’s success is less about the two of them and more reliant on the guests they book and how they promote the podcast.
“That’s why a team around them will really matter,” Schiffer said.
“Without a team, this could face a crippling set of obstacles. But I suspect that they understand that and they’re not going to allow the show to live on a powder keg.”
Schiffer has handled the promotion of podcasts for his clients and knows what can result from hard work and having the right team.
“You can build great success,” he said.
‘NATURAL CHARISMA’
As far as what listeners and fans of the duo can expect, Schiffer said it’s likely Robach and Holmes will build upon what has made them successful in their field.
The couple have a “natural charisma with one another that is captivating to audiences,” Schiffer said.
“Audiences can see the two are in love.
“It’s what caused them to maintain a hold on audiences during this last scandal and will be their weapon to drive success in addition to their talents as professionals in the news business.”
Still, that charisma can only take them so far.
Schiffer again emphasized the need for Robach and Holmes to surround themselves with the best possible guests and teammates in order for their new venture to thrive.
“It’s going to come down to how well it’s produced and how it’s promoted to maintain and build success upon,” Schiffer said.
“They no longer have the wake of ABC that will feed them with eyeballs.
“They have to go out and earn them and that comes from great content and chemistry and guests, and then really strong promotion.”
