While she would normally bring Bryan along, she attended the event with her two kids by her side.

The awards show shared a snap of the adorable family on social media, along with the caption: “It was a family affair at the BBMAs for Mariah Carey!”
Another photo showed Mariah posing with an award in her hand.
In the comments, fans fawned over the star and her kids as one wrote: “She looked and sounded great!”

In September, Mariah posted a sweet family photo on Instagram of herself posing alongside her kids and the two newest additions to their family.
The twins posed with tiny orange kittens in their hands.
Mariah revealed in the caption: “Summer prolonged…. even though I try, I can’t let go! Introducing #DemKittens, the new adopted family members: Nacho & Rocky Jr.”
Bryan did not appear in the photo.
GOING SOLO
Mariah performed a holiday-themed concert in Los Angeles.
Khloe Kardashian shared photos from the event online, which showed her posing with the singer alongside her daughter True, nieces North and Chicago West, Dream, sister Kim, and Kris Jenner, and others.
Bryan was not featured in that pic or any others in the set.
Fans seemed to think it was unusual that he would skip the event, especially given Mariah’s love of the holiday season.
