GWEN Stefani and Blake Shelton fans believe the celebrity couple is headed for divorce.
The pop star and the country singer met while coaching on The Voice in 2014 and tied the knot six years later in July 2021.
But with Blake, 47, leaving the singing competition as Gwen, 54, returned, plus new television opportunities and separate concert tours, it appears as if their differing career paths have caused a rift in their marriage.
Here are all the clues fans think their fairytale romance may soon come to an end.
NEW YEAR’S EVE
Gwen and Blake celebrated the New Year apart, further fueling rumors of marriage troubles between the spouses.
The No Doubt frontwoman took to her Instagram Stories and shared moments from her New Year’s Eve bash with friends.
In the first Story, the Voice coach squealed, “Happy New Year!”
She donned an oversized yellow jersey with a bejeweled logo on the front.
Gwen pulled her blond hair into a slick ponytail and painted her lips red.
The Aviator actress filmed the large crowd drinking champagne at the Las Vegas party she attended.
She jokingly told one of the guests, “Get off your phone!”
In the final post of the Insta Story, Gwen showed off a record player and a record collection of her hit singles — both were made out of chocolate.
As Gwen partied hard in Sin City, Blake performed at his New Year’s Eve event, Nashville’s Big Bash — which did not receive the most positive remarks.
In mid-December, the Hollaback Girl hitmaker confirmed to Access Hollywood that she would spend the New Year without her husband.
“Well, it’s funny because I was going to be at his show, and then Vegas called and wanted me to be in Vegas,” she told the outlet.
“Last year I did Vegas, and I was like, ‘Remind me to never do Vegas again.’ But you sometimes want to… not be the host.”
“So I was like: ‘Eh, I’m gonna do it.’ If you’re gonna be working, then I’m going to be working,” Gwen continued.
“So I’m just gonna fly in and out. It’s going to be awesome. I’m really looking forward to it.”
DELETED POSTS
The same month, the Don’t Speak singer sparked concern when she seemingly deleted photos of her partner.
Fans noticed and questioned Gwen in a video post she shared of herself getting ready inside her dressing room.
In the comments section, fans asked about the sudden absence of Blake from her social media.
“What happened to all the videos of you and Blake?” one person questioned.
Another agreed and noted, “I haven’t seen them either!”
“Need to see some stuff with you and Blake together,” a third chimed in.
“It seems a lot of the posts I’ve come across are older. They must be busy too. Lots of Laughs!” one wrote.
Fans had mixed feelings about their relationship from the start with some believing that Gwen had to change herself to suit Blake’s country lifestyle.
She shares her three sons – Kingston, 17; Zuma, 15; and Apollo, 9 – with her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale, 58.
DRIFTING APART
After NYE, a source claimed that Blake was “really upset” and “disappointed” that he couldn’t spend the night with his wife when speaking with Life & Style.
Their insider also alleged, “Gwen and Blake’s marriage is definitely in trouble.”
“Lately, they’ve been at odds about everything from career decisions and the parenting of her three boys to where they spend most of their time,” they continued.
“The tension continues to grow, and Blake and Gwen are drifting apart as a result.”
The U.S. Sun reached out to Blake and Gwen’s reps but did not hear back.
BARRED
Toward the end of last year, Blake vowed to cut back on drinking, despite having several hit songs and a game show revolving around alcohol.
He currently hosts Barmageddon, a bar-themed celebrity game show where stars compete against one another in pub-based challenges.
Blake co-created the show, which debuted in December 2022, along with Carson Daly and Lee Metzger.
However, he opened up about his New Year’s resolution to drink less during an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
“I haven’t managed to stop drinking yet. That’s been, you know, even cutting back has been hard,” he admitted.
“I mean, it’s a resolution though. And I’ll say it again right now — that’s my New Year’s resolution.
“Is to either cut back or stop drinking altogether.”
Blake cutting out alcohol sounds pretty far-fetched as the TV personality not only owns a bar but has been focused on opening a new location.
Earlier this month, Blake posted before and after photos of his new Las Vegas bar and restaurant ahead of its opening.
The bar, Ole Red, already has five successful locations running across Oklahoma, Florida, and Tennessee.
The first photo showed the multi-level establishment ready to go, with a few pieces of construction equipment around to finalize its finishing touches.
The snapshot showed the bar’s name plastered in white lettering across its second-story balcony, with string light hung throughout.
Blake also shared a photo of the interior of the bar before its opening, which showed the three-story spot filled with tables, guests, and colorful lights to add to the ambiance.
On the back wall was a massive sign reading, “Kiss my country a**.”
Along with his new opening, Blake has also been focused on other business ventures since stepping down from The Voice.
He recently announced he would be performing at a rodeo show in Houston, Texas, on February 27.
The former Nashville Star judge is also getting ready for his Back to the Honky Tonk National Tour that kicks off in February and will make stops all over the country.
SNUBBED SPOUSE
With all that Blake has on this plate, the country star seemingly snubbed his wife’s major career announcement.
Last week, Gwen casually announced she would be rejoining her band, No Doubt, on an upcoming tour.
And while fans expressed their excitement over the news, Blake has yet to post about or publicly acknowledge his wife’s new endeavor.
Gwen appeared in a new video that was shared on No Doubt’s social media platforms.
The California band’s last album was Push and Shove in 2012, and they haven’t been active since 2015 with Gwen pursuing a solo career and other ventures.
In the video, posted on X and Instagram, the pop singer was looking through a bunch of nostalgic items and memories from her time with the band.
The video then jumped to a group video chat of everyone from the band including Tony Kanal, Adrian Young, and Tom Dumont.
Quickly after, they all agreed, “We should do a show.”
No Doubt is getting the band back together to perform a show at this year’s Coachella Festival.
Gwen has been focusing on her career lately and has already scored a legendary-level gig.
The Rich Girl singer was selected to perform at the 2024 NFL Super Bowl LVIII, which will be happening in February.
Gwen is also planning to open a GS Beauty Bar after recently filing a trademark for a new pop-up beauty store for her cosmetics line, GXVE Beauty.
GOING SOLO
Recently in early January, Blake went solo while performing at a Country Music Television special in Tennessee.
He was filming for CMT Giants: Alabama with Gwen noticeably absent.
Blake flashed a smile while posing on his own on the red carpet at the Fisher Center for the Performing Arts in Nashville.
The country music star was photographed wearing a black blazer, gray shirt, and blue jeans.
The Voice alum was just one of several stars performing at the special to honor the band, Alabama.
Other performers included Steve Wariner, Brad Paisley, Jamey Johnson, Little Big Town, Old Dominion, Riley Green, and Sam Hunt.
The two-hour special will premiere later this year.
Around the same time, Gwen was spotted looking solemn on a solo shopping trip to a grocery store.
Gwen had a cart full of groceries as she exited a Gelson’s Supermarket in Los Angeles.
The 54-year-old rocked a grunge look in a red and black plaid shirt over a simple gray T-shirt.
She matched it with a pair of baggy sweatpants tucked into some denim boots that looked to pay tribute to her country side.
The Just A Girl singer added a pair of large sunglasses, despite the gloomy day.
Her mood seemed to mirror the weather, as she looked downtrodden and did not smile.
