ABIGAIL Breslin has called out Katy Perry for working with disgraced producer Dr. Luke following his legal feud with Kesha.
Katy collaborated with Dr. Luke on her upcoming album, 143, set to be released on September 20.
On Wednesday, Abigail posted a series of tweets on X, the first of which was allegedly a dig at Katy.
“I’m just saying… working with known abusers in any industry just contributes to the narrative that men can do abhorrent shit and get away with it,” the actress wrote.
“On another note, I love @KeshaRose and she gave one of the best shows ive ever been to last year <3 stream Kesha!”
The tweet came after the announcement that Katy Perry worked with Dr. Luke for her upcoming album, 143, which is set to be released on September 20.
Fans and followers were quick to make the connection between the two.
“Little miss hypocrite, so many artists who have collaborated with him and you only come for Katy,” tweeted one user.
“Katy is not responsible for what dr luke did,” another user fired back.
Katy collaborated with Dr. Luke on her latest single, Woman’s World, a track meant to celebrate and empower women.
KESHA V. DR. LUKE
In 2014, Kesha famously filed a lawsuit against Dr. Luke, alleging that he sexually assaulted and harassed her, among other claims, including emotional distress.
After denying all allegations against him, the nine-year lawsuit came to an end in June 2023, when both parties released a statement revealing they had reached a settlement.
“Only God knows what happened that night,” Kesha said after the agreement was reached, as reported by NPR.
Dr. Luke also responded, claiming he was “absolutely certain that nothing happened. I never drugged or assaulted her.”
Abigail’s tweet has since reached over 336,000 views and polarized fellow X users.
“Wtf??? Forr the cloutttt,” one user responded.

“R u for real?” Abigail tweeted back, showing she wasn’t going to back down from her original statement.
“Omggggg guys really…? I didn’t say anything awful, everyone calm down,” Abigail tweeted.
“I said I dont support abusers. crucify me. and I also never said I have an amazing music career. God… calm down,” she added.
“You didn’t do or say anything wrong but state the absolute truth,” People need to chill tf out.. lol f**k them, say whatever you like we all know you have good intentions and a good soul,” Drag Queen Miss Val tweeted in support of Abigail.
Abigail also used her platform to let her fans, followers, and haters know she’s been an advocate for sexual assault and domestic violence victims.
“Also, I’ve been a long time advocate against SA and DV so I’m not gonna stop speaking out about it regardless of how many of you tell me to im worthless and disgusting and awful,” she tweeted.
Abigail notably refused to work alone with Aaron Eckhart on a CIA thriller, Classified, due to his “aggressive, demeaning, and unprofessional” behavior on set, as reported by Variety in November 2023.
“You are in the right and didn’t say anything wrong. For anyone to take it poorly speaks badly of them,” Mr. Pop tweeted in support of the actress.
“The majority of the people are supporting you on this. Those who aren’t are of mob mentality,” he added.
Still, not everyone appreciated the star’s support for Kesha – or the alleged shot against Katy.
“YOU’RE WORTHLESS, DISGUSTING, AWFUL AND SO MUCH MORE. STAY AWAY FROM KATY YOUR f***ing PIG,” wrote one X user.
Some users alleged that Abigail tweeted for clout, or social media points.
“For the clout because you are flopping thanks to Ryan Murphy for giving you a bit of relevance and now you are riding the hate towards Katy for relevance! Go back to your khia house,” one user tweeted, alongside a gif of Abigail’s former Scream Queens co-star, Emma Roberts.
“We don’t care about your opinion Hoe Bag,” tweeted another user, alongside a gif of Emma punching a man.
“Aww we love threatening violence. ur adorable,” Abigail responded.
“so I made a post condemning abusers and supporting an artist I love… and apparently that means receiving death threats… cool,” Abigail tweeted.
“Girl no one even likes you that’s why you can’t get any gigs, biggest gig you had was Scream Queens and you weren’t even the main character,” another user tweeted.
Abigail is best known for her role as Olive Hoover in Little Miss Sunshine, which earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress in 2007.
She is also known for playing Libby Putney in Ryan Murphy’s short-lived Fox horror comedy series, Scream Queens.
“Nominated for a show that Emma Robert’s carried that’s why you’re now forgotten and a flop,” tweeted another user.
“U dont get nominated for an Oscar for a tv show, hun…” Abigail cheekily responded.
Nearly three hours after sending the initial tweet, it appeared Abigail was done responding to her supporters – and haters.
“Alright. goodnight everybody. im not gonna stop speaking out against abuse,” she tweeted.
“I never said a negative thing about your fave. please relax. im allowed to have a perspective,” she continued.
“Youre allowed to roast my career and treat me horribly but idk why you would. I stand by what I said. gn,” she added.
Dr. Luke, Kesha, and Katy Pery have not commented or addressed Abigail’s tweets as of Thursday, July 11.
