Aston Villa boosted their hopes of European qualification with a 3-0 hammering of Newcastle United on Saturday.
Unai Emery’s charges dominated their fellow Premier League high-flyers at Villa Park in the day’s early kickoff.
Ollie Watkins registered a brace and an assist to take his league tally this season to 14 goals and six assists.
Meanwhile, Jacob Ramsey scored his fourth Premier League goal of the campaign and also grabbed an assist.
The 21-year-old delivered an absolutely outstanding display for the Villans on the day.

‘Wonderfully bright’
Media outlets raved about the Villa academy graduate, with 9/10 ratings all round.
Birmingham Live wrote: “On fire here, scoring the first and striking the crossbar with Dan Burn just getting a nick on his effort to stop it from becoming 2-0.
“Newcastle couldn’t live with JJ in this kind of form. He missed the chance to score his second but Watkins mopped up for him to put the game to bed.
“A really strong performance from Ramsey with Southgate and under-21s manager Lee Carsley in attendance.”
Meanwhile, Birmingham World wrote: “Fantastic first-time finish for the opening goal and looked a real threat all afternoon by driving at Newcastle’s defence.

“Was so unlucky to hit the crossbar shortly after his goal. Mopped up in defence when he needed to as well.”
Finally, 90Min wrote: “Arrived on the scene to power in the opener. Wonderfully bright on the ball and heavily involved in Villa’s more exciting moments in attack.”
As per Whoscored, Ramsey registered some superb stats on the day.
The £70,000-a-week ace had four shots, including one on target, and weighed in with four key passes.
Ramsey also weighed in with two tackles and an interception, and his pass success percentage was 96.2 percent.

It’s frightening to think just how much better he can get over the coming years.
He has been outstanding for Villa and really shone against one of the Premier League’s best defences.
Things are looking up at Villa Park and they’ll fancy their chances of European qualification this season.
