Whitney was arrested by local sheriffs after an investigation was conducted by Rome Police.

The Drug Enforcement Agency’s High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas task force assisted with the TV star’s arrest, which involved a dangerous drug called Trank.

In the warrant for her arrest, officers claimed: “On February 16, 2025, between the hours of 10 and 11pm, Whitney Blake Purvis did commit the offense of aggravated involuntary manslaughter.

the warrant claimed that the former MTV star “without intent to cause the death of another human being, intentionally distributed as substance presented as Trank, commonly known as Xtlazine and fentanyl to the victim, which directly contributed to the victim’s death due to a toxic overdose.”

In the arrest documents, the victim was identified as a man named John Mark Harris.

Trank is a street drug that has seen a rise in popularity in recent years.

Its known for its terrifying side effects, which include rotting skin.

The initial incident occurred at a home in Rome, Georgia, and the 911 call wasn’t placed until the following day, February 17.

Whitney was hit with three charges: aggravated involuntary manslaughter, distribution of a controlled substance, and use of a communication device to commit a felony.

The warrant listed Whitney’s place of employment as Door Dash.

The former MTV star is currently behind bars in Georgia and is expected to have her first court appearance on Tuesday at 9am.

In another stunning revelation, Whitney even commented on her friend’s online obituary.

She wrote “John Mark, I hate that I found out what happened today and missed your funeral. I wish I could’ve found out sooner and attended your celebration of life.

“Thank you for being such a great friend to me and always making me feel beautiful and cared for.”

WHITNEY LOSES HER SON

Just over a month ago on June 2, Whitney’s oldest son, Weston Gosa Jr, died at just 16 years old after he battled a series of illnesses.

The former MTV star shared her heartbreak on social media following the loss of her child, expressing her everlasting love for him.

Weeks later, she took to Facebook with a fiery post, claiming she was barred from attending her son Weston’s funeral due to ongoing tensions with the teen’s father.

She alleged that Weston’s dad and his wife were actively trying to exclude her from her son’s life.

In an exclusive interview with The U.S. Sun, Weston’s stepmother, Amy Gosa, countered these claims, stating that Purvis hadn’t spoken to her son in six years.

Gosa also alleged that Purvis arrived hours late to Weston’s funeral despite being repeatedly reminded of the start time.

She further revealed that Purvis had the option of arranging supervised visits with her son but never followed through with scheduling them at the center.

The stepmom said that Purvis “won’t let us grieve” because of her rage-inducing allegations.

“It’s painful enough as it is, we lost a piece of our family, our daily life and she just won’t stop. It’s hurtful,” she said at the time.

This isn’t the first time Whitney was arrested.

The former 16 & Pregnant star was previously arrested for failing to pay child support.

In 2012, she faced legal trouble after being accused of shoplifting a pregnancy test from Walmart.

Later that same year, she was also accused of smashing a computer during a dispute with her baby daddy.
