In Season Two, fans learned that she was hospitalized after contracting Covid-19.

After, Tammy continued to put on weight until she was 717 pounds.
Last summer, Tammy reached her goal weight to get bariatric surgery and was standing and walking around.

TOUGH TIMES
Her husband, Caleb, passed away on June 30. He was 40 years old.
An insider told The U.S. Sun that Tammy thought Caleb “didn’t care about getting better.”
After Tammy was released from rehab in February, Caleb wasn’t showing any improvement in his weight, habits, or health.
The two attended the same facility in Ohio.
The source claimed: “Tammy was trying so hard to get him to turn around because she’s like, ‘Look, I did it,’ and he didn’t have the motivation or the willpower.”
Quickly after Tammy’s release, she and Caleb got into arguments about him not making an effort to move with her to Kentucky, The U.S. Sun previously reported.
However, the source admitted: “They were best friends and were supporters of each other in the clinic, and [his death is] devastating for her.”
On July 30, Tammy and Amy attended Caleb’s funeral in Kentucky.
The star was very emotional as she broke down into tears.
SLIM TAM
As 2023 continued, Tammy has been posting a lot on social media.
In November, Tammy flaunted her figure while modeling a few different Halloween costumes.
In the first part of the video, the reality star showed off her much-slimmer figure in a black and white skeleton bodysuit onesie with Day of the Dead paint decoration.
The star sported the look in her living room where she did a twirl for the camera.
Tammy’s adorable golden retriever ran to her side as she did a turn, trying to play with her and a set of colorful dog toys.
In the second part of the clip, she was positioned in a different part of the house – what appeared to be her sitting area.
Tammy then changed into an Egyptian queen costume with gold details.
Tammy showed off her newfound mobility by doing another twirl in the look, throwing her dress’s train out behind her.
