A FORMER X Factor star has moved to Los Angeles in a bid to crack Hollywood – and she’s already landed two huge roles.
Betsy-Blue English, who shot to fame on The X Factor in 2014 as part of group Only The Young, is swapping music for the acting world after finding success across the pond.

A source said: “Betsy’s so incredibly excited to be able to start a career stateside.
“She’s been acting professionally since she was 12 and these are the opportunities she’s dreamed of.”
As well as two Netflix shows it’s been reported that Betsy has also bagged the lead role in a movie.
The insider continued to MailOnline: “Betsy’s managed to secure a leading role in two TV shows and a couple of movies. It’s all happened very quickly.

“One of the television shows is created by the team behind 13 Reasons Why and The OA, and many more huge series she’s a fan of.”
And it’s not just her professional life that Betsy is excelling in.
Earlier this year she got engaged to songwriter David Stewart, who penned K-Pop mega group BTS’ hit Dynamite which sold more than 20m copies worldwide.
Betsy’s band Only The Young split just a year after competing on The X Factor.
Member Parisa Tarjomani was the first to officially announce her departure from the group.
She wrote on her blog at the time: “During these past 3 years I have really grown up and I have learnt that you sometimes have to move on when things no longer make you happy.”
However Betsy later took to social media to insist “no one decided to just leave”.
She added: “Some people just wanted to give you that impression.”
Betsy later followed up with a cryptic post that read: “There’s always 2 sides to every story.”
