Parents just don’t understand.
Will Smith awkwardly teased son Jaden on his 25th birthday Saturday for not having any children yet.
“Happy Birthday, J-Diggy. It’s crazy that you’re 25?!?! When I was 25 I had a 2 yr. old… I’m just sayin’…,” the “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” rapper wrote via Instagram, sharing a black-and-white photo of him and his son.
“Wha’s up? What you doin’ over there?”
Fans were quick to call out the “I Am Legend” star’s strange joke, with one jokingly writing that “parents are all the same.”
“Will wants grandkids. People wait til 40 to have kids now😂,” a second fan commented.
Adrienne Banfield Norris, Jaden’s grandmother and the mother of Jada Pinkett Smith, also teased Will for his comment.
“He’s smarter than you🤣🤣🤣😉,” she wrote.
Meanwhile, Jada, 51, posted a touching tribute of her son in honor of his birthday.
“Happy 25th Birthday my sweet, sweet Jaden!💝,” the talk show host wrote via Instagram, accompanied by a sweet throwback pic of a younger Jada with baby Jaden.
Will, 54, shares Jaden and daughter Willow, 22, with Jada. He also shares son Trey, 31, with ex-wife Sheree Zampino.

While Will and Jada may not have any grandchildren just yet, the family dynamic has bonded in other ways — including psychedelics.
As Page Six previously reported, Jaden revealed last month that his mother introduced the family to hallucinogenic drugs.
“I think it was my mom, actually, that was really the first one to make that step for the family,” he said at the Psychedelic Science conference in Denver.
“It was just her for a really, really long time and then eventually it just trickled and evolved and everybody found it in their own ways.”
The “Icon” singer also shared how he has bonded with his siblings through the use of hallucinogens.
“But the level of love and empathy that I can feel for them inside of the [psychedelic] experiences and outside of the experiences has been something that’s profound and beautiful,” he said.
“It will actually help us to open up our minds to get out of the old ways of thinking that got us into lots of these arguments and open it up so that it just releases and makes room for you to work it out and massage it out until it’s completely gone.”
