Find out which fellow football star admitted they were “irritated” watching Saquon Barkley win the Super Bowl.
NFL running back Saquon Barkley’s name has been in the news a lot lately after he was called out on social media just before the Philadelphia Eagles visited the White House to celebrate the team’s Super Bowl win against the Kansas City Chiefs. Some were unhappy that the day before the team’s visit, Barkley played golf with President Donald Trump and accepted an offer to travel to D.C. on Air Force One.
Barkley hit back at his critics via X, writing: “Lol some people are really upset cause I played [golf] and flew to the White House with the PRESIDENT. Maybe I just respect the office … Just golfed with Obama not too long ago … and look forward to finishing my round with Trump! Now ya get out my mentions with all this politics and have amazing day.”
Now, someone else is saying they’re “irritated” with Barkley and it has nothing to do with who he played golf with and how he got to D.C., and that is New York Giants star Kayvon Thibodeaux.
During an episode of Cold As Balls on LOL Network with actor and comedian Kevin Hart, Thibodeaux gave his true feelings about his former teammate winning it all as a member of the Giants’ NFC rival.
“Honestly it didn’t phase me, but it was irritating,” Thibodeaux admitted, before adding: “But knowing Saquon personally, that was amazing to see. It was a beautiful story.”
“They had a better-built team around him. Their O-Line was one of the best in the league”, the edge rusher said. He then joked, “My question is the money laundering. How do they have enough money for all those players?”
Cold As Balls is directed and executive produced by Michael D. Ratner and presented by Old Spice. It was created by OBB Pictures – the film and TV division of OBB Media – and Hartbeat. New episodes air Tuesdays on the Laugh Out Loud YouTube channel.
