The post read: “At about 11 a.m. ET on Saturday (April 29, 2023), our beloved singer Ozzy Osbourne passed away.
“Ozzy Osbourne was born on December 3, 1948 in Birmingham.
“He will be missed but not forgotten. Please show your sympathy and condolences by commenting on and liking this page.”

The Facebook post was a complete hoax and Ozzy is not dead.

Hundreds of fans immediately started writing messages of condolence on the fake Facebook page, expressing their “sadness” at the thought of Ozzy being “dead”.
Fans also took Twitter to share their thoughts on the post.
While some followers believed the post, others were immediately skeptical of the report.
