Who is Beavo?

TikTok star Beavo, whose real name is Brandon Beavis, became one of the most talked-about viral figures online in 2023.

Since he started posting videos he has amassed a huge following on the video streaming site.

As of February 2024, he has racked up more than 1.3K followers, and over 25.6M likes.

Fans can follow him on his popular TikTok page @beavisbrandon.

He is also popular on Instagram where he gives his 178k followers a further glimpse into his life and latest projects.

With his significant Instagram following, Beavo can command approximately £1-5K per sponsored post.

On Instagram, you can keep up-to-date with his life on his handle @beavoofficial.

What is Beavo known for?

In many of his early videos, Beavo was singing and rapping like a personal karaoke blog.

In others, he’s seen fighting and boxing in a training gym.

But he didn’t go mega-viral until he started posting eating videos in late 2023.

The videos gained popularity as he would often eat without chewing his food.

“Apparently, I don’t chew enough, but I don’t need to chew,” he said in one clip, replying to viewer comments. “No chew needed, you don’t need to chew your food!”

“No chew needed” seems to be the motto Beavo lives by.

His TikTok is plastered with videos of him eating mostly junk food, like pizza topped with fries, burgers, and takeaways.

In December 2023, the social media star was accused of promoting dangerous eating habits,

This is because he often films himself wolfing down food whole and not chewing it.

It’s important to note that this habit carries a risk of choking on food.

“Almost lost Beavo on that second bite,” one person said on a video.

“He makes eating look like it hurts,” another pointed out.

Why is ‘Beavo dead’ trending?

In February 2024, ‘Beavo dead’ became an online trending phrase.

The rumour came from a TikTok video that stated that the TikTok star had died.

The video, posted by user @Yd1, saw Beavo struggle to chew his food.

Over the clip, it had the caption: “RIP Beavo.”

The video went viral and as of February 26 has over 340,200 views.

Fans of the star rushed to the comments, with one writing: “Chew bro.”

“Rip,” another said.

To the relief of his fans, the only reason ‘Beavo dead’ is trending is because he was a victim of a death hoax.

There is no truth to this, and he is still alive.
