As a result, he held both American and British citizenship.

Perdomo attended two prestigious schools, first going to Redbridge Community School before attending Winchester’s Peter Symonds College.

After high school, he intended to continue his education, hoping to study law and become an attorney.

Instead, he chose to take his savings, earned by working at a local movie theater and shoe shop, and move to London to pursue an acting career.

Once in London, Perdomo joined the National Youth Theatre and trained at the Identity School of Acting.

“For those of us who knew him and worked with him, Chance was always charming and smiling, an enthusiastic force of nature, an incredibly talented performer, and more than anything else, just a very kind, lovely person.”

“Even writing about him in the past tense doesn’t make sense.”

“We are so sorry for Chance’s family, and we are grieving the loss of our friend an colleague,” they wrote.

“Hug your loved ones tonight,” they added.

Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television added, “The entire Gen V family is devastated by the sudden passing of Chance Perdomo,” they wrote, as reported by Deadline.

Perdomo’s breakout role occurred in 2018 when he played Jerome Rogers in Killed by My Debt.

Perdomo was nominated for a BAFTA for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his portrayal of Rogers.

The same year, he also starred in an episode of Midsomer Murders, a British crime drama TV series.
