The 13 Reasons Why actress was married to Peter Zurkuhlen, a long-time partner, since November, 2016.

Peter Zurkuhlen was born on February 19, 1988.
Although in the public eye, Peter has managed to keep most of his personal information private.
What can be said, however, is that he hails from America, along with his family.
He received his education at The Calhoun Academy in South Carolina before moving on to Centre College, a liberal arts college in Kentucky.

In 2022, People announced that the couple were divorcing.
Tommy told TIME, “I was in a nine-year relationship in which I was thought of as a more male-bodied person, with a gay man.”
“I love him so much, but we’ve been learning that as a trans woman, what I’m interested in is not necessarily reflected in a gay man.”
“So we’ve had incredible conversations to redefine our relationship as friends,” she said. “Transitioning has been liberating and clarifying.”
Tommy also revealed on the Broad Ideas podcast that she is engaged to a woman in August 2023.
She didn’t disclose her fiancée’s identity, but the actress described her partner as “just a gay girl.”
“I fell in love with someone who doesn’t fetishize me,” she said.
