SIMON Bird shot to fame playing everybody’s favourite geek Will McKenzie in Channel 4′ hit comedy series The Inbetweeners.

Who is Simon Bird?
Born on August 19, 1984, Simon Anthony Bird is an English actor and comedian.
He studied at Queen’s College in Cambridge University where he became president of the prestigious Footlights theatre group and met future co-star Joe Thomas.
Simon is best known for playing sarcastic but lovable geek Will McKenzie in The Inbetweeners series, which started back in 2008.
During his time on the show, his character was known for his hilarious gaffes, including using Yoda’s catchphrase. “Feisty one you are!” to impress a girl.
However, Simon and his co-stars waved goodbye to the series in 2014 after two smash-hit feature films and three series.
Although his character Will was often famed for being unlucky in love, Simon has had no such issues, marrying long-term girlfriend Lisa Owens in 2012.
They have two children together. Their first child, a boy, was born in 2016

After The Inbetweeners, Simon found great success as Adam Goodman in Channel 4 comedy Friday Night Dinner.

The show ran for six seasons seasons, before ending in 2020 after the tragic death of Paul Ritter.
He appeared as Cecil in Chickens from 2011 until 2013, and was part of he cast for TV mini-series Sandylands.
As well as starring in the two Inbetweeners movies, Simon has also had roles in You, Me And Him, The Darkest Universe, The Harry Hill Movie and The Look Of Love.
In 2023 Simon returned to TV in Channel 4’s Everyone Else Burns.
