Who is Calum Scott?
Calum Scott was born on October 12, 1988 in Yorkshire, and is a singer and songwriter.
He shot to fame back in 2015 after competing on Britain’s Got Talent, where he performed his version of Robyn’s hit Dancing on My Own.
After coming sixth in the contest, Calum released his version as a single the following year, which peaked at No.2 on the UK Singles Chart and became Britain’s best-selling single of summer 2016.
He released his debut album Only Human in 2018, which was followed in 2022 by Bridges.
Speaking to The Sun about his second album, and getting high praise from Ed Sheeran he told us: “We released it to mark Pride month and the reaction has just been insane. Ed creeped into the DMs. He said it made him well up and that he thought it was so beautiful.

“It is cool to get a nod from people in the business. I met him briefly when I was touring with Jamie Lawson – they are great friends. Ed is one of those people who remembers everybody.
“We have been messaging back and forth and we talk about his kids and being on tour and he was talking to me about my album. We have kept the dialogue going but I just wouldn’t want to push and see if we can work together – that isn’t my personality though obviously I would want to.
