A SLEW of high-profile guests including Hollywood A-listers and top government officials are expected to show up at Jeff Bezos’ wedding of the century.
The second richest man in the world has been engaged to bombshell supermodel Lauren Sanchez for two years – and their wedding has finally been confirmed for this summer in Venice, Italy.

After five years of dating, 61-year-old Bezos popped the question to Sanchez over a $2.5million 20-carat ring May 2023,
The couple hosted a decadent engagement party on their megayacht in Positano, Italy, in August 2023.
The world’s eyes are now on the Bezos, who is reportedly planning to book lavish $32,000 suites to accommodate guests from across the world and use his $500million superyacht as a taxi.
Top celebrities who were sent invites for the grand wedding celebration include Kim Kardashian, Oprah Winfrey, Eva Longoria, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Orlando Bloom and his fiancee, Katy Perry.
Meanwhile, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, as well as Karlie Kloss and her husband Joshua Kushner, have also been invited, TMZ reports.
Speculations are that Donald Trump will also be invited to the wedding, if not already been, after Bezos and Sánchez had front-row seats at Trump’s inauguration in January.
Bezos, whose estimated net worth is $212billion, reportedly placed the ring under her pillow before Sanchez found and opened the box.
Sanchez, 55, a former US TV journalist and helicopter pilot, told Vogue that she “blacked out a bit” during their proposal after seeing her multimillion-dollar ring.
Local media have reported that the wedding may take place at Gritti Palace and the seven-star Aman Hotel.
The Aman, a luxurious boutique 16th century palazzo, is where Hollywood legend George Clooney and his wife exchanged vows in a “private, symbolic” ceremony.

Rooms at both hotels start from $3,200 a night but can cost up to ten times that amount depending on season and suite size.
The three-day, ultra-exclusive celebration is set to take place between June 24 and 26.
According to reports in the Italian press, wedding planners have fully booked five of Venice’s plushest hotels and reserved almost the entire fleet of the city’s water taxis as well as a dock for Bezos’s mega-yacht.
One source told MailOnline that Bezos may use his lavish superyacht to taxi his guests and take them out during the festivities.
As a pre-wedding gift, Sanchez will fly up to space on her billionaire fiance’s rocket in May.
The New Shepard spaceship will fly up for an 11-minute sub-orbital flight with an all-female crew – including pop star Katy Perry.
The bride-to-be has also revealed that she’s already chosen her dress, believed to be from Oscar de la Renta, and will be styled by Vogue boss Anna Wintour.

Sanchez has previously said that her fiance inspires her.
She said: “He’s so happy, he inspires me every day.
“He makes me a better person every day. He’s the most loving human I know.”
Meanwhile, Bezos has told reporters: “Lauren is the most generous, most big-hearted person that you would ever meet… She never misses a birthday.
“The network of people that she gives birthday presents to is gigantic.
“And that’s just a small example.”
The pair began dating in 2019, but avoided being seen together until finalising their respective divorces.
Bezos and his ex-wife, MacKenzie Scott, finalized their divorce in April 2019, after more than 25 years of marriage.
The former couple share four children.
Sánchez and her ex-husband, Patrick Whitesell, settled their divorce in October 2019, after 13 years together.
