DJ Mallorca Lee has died just weeks after revealing his cancer battle.
He is survived by his wife Maria and children.

Who is Mallorca Lee’s wife Maria?
Maria is the wife of DJ Mallorca Lee.
Together they share two children Angel and Oceano.
Not much is known about Maria as she has kept out of the spotlight.
Just weeks before his tragic death, Mallorca Lee shared a heartbreaking final picture on Instagram.
His last post was a sweet snap with his wife Maria and two kids at Barshaw Park in Paisley.
The family were seen smiling at the camera in the sunshine in the image, which was shared on January 13, 2024.
The caption read: “Hug the ones closest to you and tell them just how much they mean to you and how much you love them.”
What was Mallorca Lee known for?
Mallorca Lee formed the popular dance act Ultra Sonic in the 1990s.
They were known for their hits Obsession, Love Me Right and Angels.
Lee joined Public Domain in 2001 before launching his solo career as a DJ and producer in 2003.
He performed locally and internationally for the past 20 years and worked alongside some of the industry’s biggest names.
How did Mallorca Lee die?
On February 5, 2024, Lee’s bandmate DJ KID took to social media on to share the sad news.
He wrote: “It is with tremendous sadness that I announce the sad passing on Sunday afternoon of legendary Scottish DJ, producer and long-time friend Mallorca Lee, who was diagnosed with terminal cancer just four weeks ago. He was 51.
“During this incredibly upsetting time, my deepest sympathy goes out to Maria, Mallorca’s wife his children Angel and Oceano and his extended family and friends.
“You will be deeply missed, brother, but your energy and legacy will live on.”
Just weeks before his death, Lee took to Facebook to share his health status with his family and friends.
He wrote: “I’ve been diagnosed with terminal cancer, the doctor said it could be a matter of months.
“I apologise for not telling all of my family and friends individually, it just breaks my heart a thousand times and I don’t have the strength to go through it all over and over again.
“I love you all, the last 10 years have been the best of them all, it really has been wonderful.
“Forgive me if I don’t answer your calls and messages, I’m still processing, even this post feels like someone else is writing it…
“Love, that’s all we ever really have, our one true currency, so tell the ones around you what they mean to you, every day. LOVE LOVE LOVE Mall.”
