Who is Lauren Simon’s ex-husband Paul?
Lauren was married to ex-husband Paul Simon for 13 years.
The former couple split shortly after Lauren made her first appearance on The Real Housewives of Cheshire and their divorce was finalised in 2018.
Paul is a property tycoon and studied property estate management at university in London.
Early in his career he worked as a trader in the City.
Paul is now the director of numerous property investment companies.
What happened during Lauren and Paul’s divorce?
Paul’s exact net worth is not publicly known but it’s fair to say the businessman has made a lot of money throughout the years.
After their split Paul initially gave Lauren a £3million lump sum but later won an appeal against the order.
He claimed at the time that the pair only had £2million between them in assets and he had no cash of his own.
A consent order was then agreed by both sides in February 2021, giving Lauren was given the right to live in a £1.8million mansion in Altrincham if she dropped all other bids to get Paul’s money.
Specialist divorce finance company Integro Funding Limited (Level) then claimed that the former couple had entered a “collusive agreement” to avoid paying a hefty bill Lauren owed them.
The company claimed to have lent the reality star £865,828 to help with her divorce battle but Lauren was then left with no money of her own to pay the bill thanks to her 2021 agreement with Paul.
Level alleged that the star owed them £1million with interest.
Paul and Lauren were called back to court in 2022 but the situation appeared to still be unresolved as of September 2023.
Do Lauren and Paul Simon have any children?

Lauren told The Sun: “My life hit a crossroads and it was sink or swim but there was no way I was going under – I’m a fighter.
“I think it’s really important for my kids to see that if you’ve got your own business you can make your own decisions in life.
“You don’t have to be tied to a man.”
She added: “The main thing for me was to create a brand for my little girls… I thought it would be good to give them a business that’s glamorous.”
