Lana Del Rey can kiss her “Summertime Sadness” goodbye for good.
One month after the Grammy nominee sparked romance speculation with Louisiana-based alligator tour guide Jeremy Dufrene, the duo got married.
They walked down the aisle in September 2024 in Des Allemandes, La.
The couple initially met in March 2019.
That year, Del Rey made headlines for dating Oklahoma cop Sean Larkin before being linked to multiple musicians, from country singer Clayton Johnson to Jack Donoghue.

What is his job?
Dufrene works at Airboat Tours by Arthur in Des Allemands where he explores the Bayou des Allemands, known as the “Catfish Capital of the World.”
He has encountered many A-listers through his line of work, giving tours to Glen Powell, Emma Roberts and Kate Hudson.
While it is unclear exactly how long Dufrene has been with the company, his employment goes back to at least 2015.
Does he have kids?
Dufrene appears to have children from a previous relationship.
The swamp boat captain, whose Instagram is private, has given glimpses of his daughters on social media (per the Daily Mail).
Del Rey, for her part, does not have kids — but told the Sunday Times in December 2023 that she saw parenthood “coming for” her.
How did he meet Del Rey?
Del Rey took one of Dufrene’s tours in March 2019 when she was in Louisiana for the BUKU Music + Art Project festival.
Dufrene posted a picture with the performer via Instagram, gushing, “I never know who I can run across on my tours but always a pleasure @lanadelrey.”
She also shared snaps from the excursion, writing on Facebook, “Jeremy lemme be captain at Arthur’s Air Boat Tours x.”
The pair have since followed each other on social media.
How did fans find out they were dating?
Del Rey seemingly reconnected with Dufrene in May 2024 for another tour.
“Family w my guy @jeremy.dufrene,” she captioned an Instagram photo with two of her friends at the time.
Three months later, she and Dufrene were spotted in London holding hands in a TikTok video, with the Daily Mail reporting they visited Harrod’s and a pub.
The pair attended model Karen Elson’s New York City wedding that September.
When did they wed?
News broke in September 2024 that Del Rey and Dufrene had obtained a marriage license at the Thibodaux, La., courthouse.
The following day, the Daily Mail obtained photos of the duo’s ceremony next to the Bayous des Allemends.
The newylweds have yet to addree their nuptials.
