KEITH Lemon may be known for failing miserably when it comes to women, but the man behind the character has had more luck in life.
Comedian Leigh Francis, who is best known for his Lemon alter-ego, is actually happily married to wife Jill Carter.

Who is Keith Lemon’s wife Jill Carter?
Jill Carter is best known for being married to Keith Lemon AKA Leigh Francis.
But unlike her famous husband, she has kept out of the spotlight and isn’t a celebrity.
In fact, Jill has pursued a career as a beauty therapist.
It is reported that the couple’s relationship began back when they were childhood sweethearts.
The happy couple got married back in October 2002.
The ceremony took place at Allerton Castle in North Yorkshire.

The pair are notoriously private, though she has attended some celebrity events with her husband.

However, in October 2022 Keith posted a series of pictures of them together on Halloween writing: “Happy anniversary to my most favourite and best!
“30 years together 19 married! How time flys when ya madly in love! I’ve fed the dog, see ya when I’m back from @gmb love you loads and loads xxx.”
Leigh has spoken in the past about how he very rarely appears as himself, preferring to go out as Keith – but did turn up with Jill at an awards bash as Leigh.
He told The Sun: “I promised her Keith wouldn’t be there so we could just have a bit of time on our own being normal.
“You can tell it’s me instead of Keith because I’ve got my hair tied back into a tiny bun.”
He added: “But I won’t be doing it again. I don’t want anyone to know who I really am – I prefer being Keith.
“Everyone goes a bit weird when it’s just me.”
Do they have any children?
Jill and Leigh have two daughters, Matilda and Dolly.
The couple never share photos or details of their children, but have been spotted out and about with them.
The family live together in North London.
