MANCHESTER UNITED legend Gordon McQueen has passed away at the age of 70.
The former defender leaves behind his grieving family, which includes his beloved daughter Hayley McQueen.

Who is Gordon McQueen’s daughter Hayley McQueen?
Hayley was born in Manchester on December 9, 1979, and is a sports presenter who specialises in football.
Her dad is the legendary Gordon McQueen, who was known for playing for Manchester United.
Her dad sadly died on June 15, 2023 following his battle with dementia.
Following her father’s death, Hayley released an emotional statement where she revealed that Gordon had been bedridden for the months leading up to his passing.
She also said her father had received visits from former team-mates, who he still recognised despite his condition.
Posting on Instagram, Hayley said: “Beyond heartbroken to announce we have lost our wonderful dad, I thought when the day came I’d be prepared and feel a sense of relief that he is no longer trying to battle this awful disease but I just feel numb.”
Is Hayley McQueen married?
Hayley isn’t married but she is engaged to long term partner Kirk Newmann.
She was due to marry the German-born model in 2020, but had to postpone due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Speaking to the Daily Record at the time, she said: “We were supposed to be getting married this summer, which is just totally rubbish. We’ve had to put this off three times now.
“First, it was circumstance. We were trying for a baby and decided to use the money for IVF instead of a big wedding.
“In the end, we didn’t need to have IVF because I fell pregnant. Then we planned the wedding and realised it wouldn’t be realistic to get married in the summer just so soon after having a baby.
Hayley also previously revealed that her man isn’t into football – at all.
Speaking on singer Laura Wright’s Music Is My Life podcast, she said that, despite her passion for beautiful game, her husband-to-be knows nothing about it.
She said: “My other half is not a football fan. He’s just not interested.
“I introduced him to Wayne Rooney once and he thought he was one of the staff members at Manchester United. He had absolutely no idea.”
The happy couple welcomed their daughter Ayla McQueen-Newmann on October 3, 2019.
Why is Hayley McQueen famous?
Away her father’s fame, Hayley is also famous in her own right.
She is a lead anchor on Sky Sports News and the presenter of Scottish Premiership and Scottish Cup.
Previous to that Hayley hosted Sky Sports’ flagship Saturday evening Football First Premier League highlights show Match Choice.
