IN 2023, famous DJ Michael Bibi told fans and followers that he was suffering with a rare form of cancer.

Who is Michael Bibi?
Michael Bibi is a dance music producer and DJ based in London.
He is one of the most popular DJs in the UK’s music dance scene – where his is known for his groove style of house music.
The star also had a residency at DC10 nightclub in Ibiza and founded the record label, Solid Grooves.
What cancer does Michael Bibi have?
In June 2023, Michael Bibi informed fans that he is suffering with a rare form of brain and spinal cancer.
The DJ and music producer had been suffering with tinnitus – which he made a visit to see his GP about.
While performing a number of tests, health professionals discovered the cancer.
It is known as primary central nervous system (CNS) lymphoma – a type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma that affects the central nervous system and spreads quickly.
Symptoms can include nausea, vomiting, and weakness to vision problems, changes in the mental state, and seizures.
Other more general signs of a brain tumour can include vision or speech problems, paralysis and even changes to a person’s taste and smell and ability to remembering things.

What has Michael Bibi said about his cancer battle?
In an Instagram post shared to his official account in June 2023, Michael said that the condition was “moving fast” and that he was staying in hospital where he would undergo treatment.
He wrote: ”Hello world, writing this post is a hard one.. last week I was diagnosed with CNS Lymphoma. A very rare cancer that effects the brain & spine.
”Unfortunately it’s moving fast & l to have to stay in hospital starting treatment immediately.
”Typing this message doesn’t quite seem real & I’m sorry for the bad news. I don’t know what lies ahead, I’m tired but I know I am strong & I won’t let this beat me.
”I will be back stronger for you all. Love Bibi,” followed by a red love heart emoji.
The London-based DJ continues to use the social media platform to update fans and followers on his cancer battle.
Since sharing the news of his diagnosis, a number of famous faces and names in the music industry have sent their support and well wishes.
Michael’s record label Solid Grooves sent its “love and support” to the “international superstar” while he recovers.
The team added: “We hope to have him back with us as soon as possible to make more memories.”
Electronic duo Disclosure said: “Love and strength to you, Michael.”
Meanwhile, Example wrote: “You got this,” and Paris Hilton sent “lots and love and light”.
