DARREN Harriott is a confident comedian with a captivating charm, capable of making millions burst into laughter.
Now the funnyman is swapping the stage for the ice, in a bid to be crowned this year’s Dancing On Ice champion.

Who is Darren Harriott?
Darren Harriott, born September 1, 1988, is a stand-up comedian from Oldbury, West Midlands.
He first appeared on TV screens in 2016 on Stand Up Central for the channel Comedy Central.
Following his success on the show, he made an appearance on the BBC’s Live at the Apollo in 2017.
He followed that up by winning Edinburgh Fringe’s Best Newcomer Award.
Returning to Fringe in 2019, Darren won the Best Show Award.
The funnyman has toured the UK with his comedy shows and appeared in many comedy clubs all across the country.
Now living in London, he wrote and recorded a four-part series for BBC Radio 4 called Black Label.
What TV shows has Darren been in?
Darren can be seen on panel shows such as 8 out of 10 Cats.
He has also been on celebrity game shows such as Celebrity Mastermind, Richard Osman’s House of Games and Roast Battle.

Darren also starred in the channel Dave’s campaign Comedians Against Living Miserably (CALM) in 2020.
In this, he spoke about his father, who was involved with drugs and had killed himself in prison in 2000.
In 2021 he co-hosted a travel show called British as Folk, with fellow comedians Ivo Graham and Fern Brady.
He was one of the hosts on the BBC show Britain’s Top Takeaways with Sara Cox.
In October 2022, it was announced that Darren had joined the Dancing On Ice lineup for its 2023 series.
Speaking about appearing on the series, the comedian told Trisha Goddard on Talk TV: “I’ve got giant feet, I don’t skate and I can’t dance!
“My family has already made bets – they’re making bets that I’ll fall on the first episode!”
Is Darren married and does he have children?
Darren does not appear to be married or have children.
Unlike his career, it appears Darren prefers to keep his love life out of the spotlight.
In a 2021 interview with Beyond The Joke, he mentions his girlfriend and how she dislikes his current house.
However, it is not known if the pair are still together.
