COMEDIAN Kieran Hodgson takes on the lead role of disgraced Prince Andrew in a new Channel 4 satirical musical.
From performing at the Edinburgh Fringe to now having his work shown on a national channel, here is everything you need to know about the Yorkshire star.

Who is Kieran Hodgson?
Kieran Hodgson is a British character comedian, actor, and writer.
He was brought up in West Yorkshire and educated at Greenhead College before attending the University of Oxford.
While he was at Oxford, he started off as a stand-up comic.
His debut show at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2014 was nominated by The Times as one of the Top five of the Free Fringe 2014.
Some might recognise the Yorkshire star for his part in the TV sitcom Two Doors Down.
He plays vegan Gordon, boyfriend to Ian in the show, which also stars the likes of Elaine C Smith, Jonathon Watson and Arabella Weir.
Outside of his comedy career, Hodgson is a keen musician.
He learned both the violin and piano as a child, and still continues to play the violin.

He played in the North London Sinfonia for eight years, from 2012 to 2020.
What films and TV shows has Kieran Hodgson been in?
Hodgson appeared as Ian Lavender in the one-off BBC Two drama We’re Doomed! The Dad’s Army Story.
His other TV credits include appearances in Siblings on BBC Three, Count Arthur Strong on BBC Two and the film Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa.
His many radio credits include starring in The Lentil Sorters on BBC Radio 4, and presented Kieran Hodgson’s Earworms for Radio 4 in August 2017.
Hodgson is now set to star in Prince Andrew: The Musical on Channel 4.
Written by and starring Hodgson as the Prince himself, the storyline of the musical centres on the key events, relationships and controversies of Andrew’s life.
Speaking to The Times about the hour-long spoof, he said: “I am extremely nervous.
“In fact I’m more nervous about this than anything I’ve done before.”
Is Kieran Hodgson married and does he have any children?
Kieran is married to his husband Anthony.
The pair live together in Yorkshire, close to where Kieran grew up.
Not much else is known about his relationship as the star likes to keep his personal life private.
