AS A teenage James Bourne burst into the spotlight when he formed the boy band Busted.
After many highs, and some lows in his career, he is now enjoying a second wind of fame.

Who is James Bourne?
Jame Bourne was born on September 13, 1983 in Rochford in Essex and is an English singer-songwriter.
He was raised in Southend-on-Sea where he learnt to play electric guitar, piano, drums and bass guitar.
James is best known as the co-founder of Busted.
He moved to New York after the band split in January 2005.

When did James join Busted?
James first found fame as one-third of Busted alongside Charlie Simpson and Matt Willis in 2000.
Their most remembered tunes include Year 3000 and What I Go To School For.
The band disbanded in 2005 due to Charlie leaving to pursue other projects.
In November 2015 Busted announced that the band were back together again.
They released their third studio album, Night Driver, on November 25, 2016.
The boys also headed back out on the road in Spring 2019.
But in 2023 Busted revealed they were reuniting AGAIN with another new album and tour, thrilling fans.

Has James done anything else?
After Busted split in January 2005, James formed a new pop rock band named Son of Dork.
They released their first single, Ticket Outta Loserville in November 2005, which reached No3.
They followed this with their debut album, Welcome to Loserville, two weeks later.
Their second single Eddie’s Song hit a high of No10.
Although a split was never officially announced, Dave Williams, Chris Leonard and Steve Rushton all left to pursue other projects leaving James and Danny Hall the only members.
A reunion of sorts happened when James turned their debut album into Loserville: The Musical.
When did James join McBusted?
James’ big return to music saw him reunite with one of his ex-Busted bandmates Matt Willis and the band McFly to form supergroup, McBusted.
The boys enjoyed two successful sell-out tours and released their debut album in December 2014.
The self-titled album landed in the UK Top 10 and sold over 100,000 copies.
McBusted has been on hiatus since the original Busted trio reformed.
What are Busted’s biggest hits?
Busted had four UK No1 hit singles and two top 10 albums.
They first hit number one with their third hit You said No, followed by Crashed the Wedding, Who’s David and Thunderbirds/3am.
However their most popular song is Year 3000 which hit a high of No2.
Their first two albums – Busted and A Present for Everyone – also reached No2 in the UK charts.
