What does Lisa Armstrong do now?
After ditching her pop career, Lisa, 47, now makes a living as a make-up artist.
She has worked on shows like This Morning, Pick Me and Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.
Lisa has even worked on X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent.
She is now head of make-up and hair for Strictly Come Dancing, and won the RTS award for Make-Up Design in Entertainment & Non Drama in November 2019.
In December 2018, Sun Online exclusively revealed Lisa was axed from Britain’s Got Talent after infuriating the producers with her “attention-seeking” behaviour on social media.
A source said: “Lisa was taken off Britain’s Got Talent because bosses have seen the way she constantly courts attention on social media.
“They don’t want someone working on the show who behaves in this manner. Hair and make-up artists on the show need to be behind the scenes, but Lisa constantly tries to keep herself in the spotlight by using social media to get publicity.”
In 2019, Lisa became the brand ambassador for Avon.
She was also one of the guest judges on BBC Three’s Glow Up: Britain’s Next Make-up Star in 2020.

What has Lisa Armstrong said about her split from Ant McPartlin?
Before the settlement was officially agreed, Lisa responded to a tweet from a fan denying that she would get the £31million divorce settlement.
The fan wrote:”How can (£)31 million not be enough for you?! It’s enough for both me and my family put together for life. Just sayin’.”
Lisa simply said: “Don’t believe the lies #justsaying.”
But she has been active on social media, posting a tweet on New Year’s Day 2018 with a picture of brunette woman throwing out the rubbish from 2017.
Lisa lost her job on Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway in February and the two began living apart in a difficult 2017.
The make-up artist also began liking tweets from fans who blasted Ant over the divorce.
One tweet said: “I agree it’s nobody else’s business. But….they are in the public eye. I also hope she wipes the floor with him in court. Purely for the utter disrespect and disloyalty that he’s shown her! And all for the public to see and witness #vileman”.
Another fan said: “Just read a story about you going to court on the DM and normally I’m all for “leave it for karma to sort it out” I literally just waved goodbye to my ex even though I was treated badly but Ant has been so disrespectful towards you and why shouldn’t you have your day! #gogirl”
