Where ‘Love is Blind’ stars Chelsea Blackwell and Jimmy Presnell stand amid reconciliation rumors

Chelsea Blackwell and Jimmy Presnell are just friends.

Despite recent reconciliation rumors, the “Love is Blind” stars confirmed ahead of Wednesday’s reunion episode that they are not back together.

Blackwell admitted to Entertainment Weekly this week that the couple — who broke up during Season 6 — attempted to work things out after cameras stopped rolling.

“We tried to date for days after, and we really tried,” she recalled. “We tried our hardest and it just didn’t work out.”

Presnell, 28, ended things with Blackwell, 31, for a second time following their short reconciliation.

“He called me and said he realized he didn’t want a relationship,” she explained. “This experiment was a lot on him and it just didn’t work out.”

He explained to the outlet, “Ultimately, it just didn’t work because I felt like I had skeletons in my closet at that point that she constantly was bringing up.”

The former couple butted heads over several things during their time on the hit Netflix series, such as Blackwell’s insistence that Presnell was not affectionate enough and Presnell thinking she was too “clingy” as he repeatedly reassured her that he was in love with her.

The software sales rep said he felt “disrespected” when Blackwell called him out for sleeping with one of his female best friends in the past after he asked her to keep the information off the show.

She apologized during the reunion, and Presnell said he should have ended their relationship immediately after the incident. However, he said he kept fighting for their engagement because they were so in love.

The flight attendant and Presnell didn’t become friends immediately after their final split.

In fact, Blackwell told Entertainment Weekly that they stopped speaking for “months and months.”

“This is very new where we realized for both of our mental health we needed to rekindle and lean on each other,” she explained of their recent meetup in Florida. “We’re the only people in the world who understand our story.”

Only two couples made it to the alter during Season 6 of “Love is Blind” — Amber Desiree “AD” Smith and Clay Gravesande and Amy Cortés and Johnny McIntyre.

Amy and Johnny were the sole couple to tie the knot.

Meanwhile, Sarah Ann Bick exclusively told Page Six this week that she and Jeramey Lutinski have “definitely talked about marriage” after the big reveal that they’ve been dating since filming wrapped.
