Where is Colonel Tom Parker’s grave?

Colonel Tom Parker’s funeral was held at the Hilton Hotel and was attended by a handful of friends and former associates, including Priscilla Presley, Eddy Arnold and Sam Phillips.

It has been reported that his ashes were taken to Memphis.

How did Colonel Tom Parker die?

On January 20, 1997, Parker’s wife heard a crashing sound from the living room, and found him slumped over in his chair after having a stroke.

The next morning he died from complications of the stroke at a hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada, at age 87.

His death certificate lists his birth name as Andreas Cornelis van Kuijk, his country of birth as the Netherlands, and his citizenship as American.

When did Colonel Tom Parker meet Elvis Presley?

Parker became aware of Elvis in 1955 and after meeting early that year, Presley agreed to let Parker take some control of future bookings and promotions.

It was March of the next year that Presley signed a contract with Parker that made him his exclusive representative.

The Colonel travelled to Memphis for the funeral, where he turned up dressed in a Hawaiian shirt and baseball cap, and smoked his trademark cigar.

It was reported that at the funeral, he persuaded Presley’s father to sign over control of Presley’s career in death to him.

Where is Colonel Tom Parker’s house?

Parker lived in the Vista Las Palmas neighbourhood of Palm Springs throughout most of his career.

The house, that sold for $2.3million in 2021, is adjacent the famed Elvis Honeymoon House, also known as The House of Tomorrow.

It was designed by architectural duo Dan Palmer and William Krisel in partnership with the Alexander Construction Co.

The house was completed in 1957 and renovated in the late 1990s.

However, Parker spent his last few years living in Las Vegas.
