Dina Cantin has returned to the spotlight following her ex-husband’s conviction, but she isn’t doing it from New Jersey. Cantin now calls California home.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey fans who tuned into the show’s earliest seasons were treated to plenty of drama from Caroline Manzo and her siblings, including Dina Cantin. Dina, known as Dina Manzo while appearing on RHONJ, left the series early on in its run and has had a pretty epic falling out with several family members, including Caroline Manzo. She even moved states to get away from the drama. So, where does Dina Cantin live now, and would she ever return to her home state?
Where does Dina Cantin live now?
Dina Cantin was born in Brooklyn but raised in New Jersey. When The Real Housewives of New Jersey fans first met her, she was married to Tommy Manzo and living in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. The marriage, which was featured on a different reality show, didn’t last long. Eventually, Cantin decided to look for a fresh start.
Cantin basically fled New Jersey following her divorce from Tommy Manzo. She announced her split in 2013 and left the Garden State in 2015, and she apparently has not looked back. Dina married Dave Cantin in 2017. Together, they lived in Orange County for several years. That changed in late 2023.
According to the Orange County Register, the Cantins listed their San Juan Capistrano, California home for sale in December 2023 for $4.7 million. The pair weren’t planning to go too far, though. Cantin and her husband set down roots 150 miles north of San Juan Capistrano. They purchased a sprawling estate in Montecito, California, for $16 million.
Since then, the Cantins have been busy renovating the home. Cantin revealed that she and her husband have been splitting their time between California, a beach home they own in Florida, and New York.
Would Dina Cantin ever return to New Jersey?
Dina Cantin might be a California girl now, but she’s best known for her time in New Jersey. While Dina certainly got her reality TV start in the Garden State, she has no desire to return to it, at least not permanently.
During a January Q&A on Instagram, Cantin was asked if she ever missed New Jersey. She revealed that she missed being close to her mother but clarified that she would not be moving back to her home state. She simply stated that it was not for her.
Dina Cantin isn’t the only member of her family who moved coasts, though. Jacqueline Laurita, who also appeared on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, calls California home, too. Laurita is married to Cantin’s brother, Nick Laurita. Cantin and Laurita remain estranged despite their proximity.
