EMILY ATACK surprised fans when she announced her pregnancy at the end of 2023.

The Inbetweeners star shared the news that she is expecting her first child with her mysterious partner, saying she has “never been so happy”.

When is Emily Atack’s baby due?

Emily Atack is due to give birth to her first child in April 2024.

This means the TV star kept her pregnancy under wraps for five months before sharing the happy news with the public.

Emily, who appeared on I’m A Celebrity back in 2018, had been open about her desire to become a mother in the past and she previously shared her fertility fears on her show Emily Atack: Adulting.

The actress, who was born in December 1989, was approaching 30 at the time the series aired.

Speaking on the programme, she said: “I have been worrying about my fertility.

“My whole life I have assumed if I met someone I could have babies straight away, but what if I can’t?”

After the news of her pregnancy was confirmed a friend told The Sun: “It’s the perfect end to her year. She feels over the moon.

“Emily is more than ready to be a mum and it is something she has dreamed of her whole life”.

Who is Emily Atack’s partner?

Emily is having a baby with Dr Alistair Garner, who she has been dating since 2023.

The couple have only been pictured together once, in September 2023, but are thought to live together.

Garner is, according to his Linkedin, a materials scientist and electron microscopist specialising in nuclear and aerospace applications.

Prior to her relationship with Garner, Emily was dating former Big Brother star Liam McGough.

She has also been linked to Seann Walsh, Dougie Poynter and Ziggy Lichman in the past.

Following the news of Emily and Alistair’s pregnancy, a friend of the star told The Sun that their relationship is in a great place.

They said: “[Emily’s] relationship with Alistair has gone from strength to strength and they’ve moved into together.

“Family is everything to her — she comes from a big one herself and is really close to all her siblings — so she cant wait to start one of her own.

“They’ve all rallied around her and delighted in the joyous occasion”.

The friend added that Emily’s mum, actress, singer and impressionist Kate Robbins, “can’t wait to be a grandma”.

When did Emily Atack announce her pregnancy?

Atack announced her pregnancy on social media on Saturday, December 30.

She shared a sweet black and white photo of her baby bump on Instagram, confirming that she is expecting a little one to her almost 2million followers.

Emily captioned the picture: “Hello Everyone, it’s been a little while but I’m back with some news. I’m delighted to share with you all that we’re having a baby!!

“I’ve never been so happy and utterly terrified at the same time”.

She continued: “Please go easy on me. Every day is mixed with thrill, fear, joy, hysteria, topped off with a lot of vomiting — a bit like when you’ve just stepped off of the Oblivion at Alton Towers on a hangover.

“I’ve got to know my body on such an insane level.

“It’s made me appreciate the one I’ve been given SO much, I’m doing my absolute best to make it a home for the little squid I’m growing.”

Emily’s statement concluded with: “We can already sense the baby is reclined on a mattress of peanut butter and jam sandwiches in there, demanding more chocolate buttons.

“I’m so happy to be writing all of this to you all.

“You’ve always stuck by me through the years, do stick around to watch me enter my mum era. Christ. Let’s go”.

Prior to her Instagram statement, Emily had been keeping uncharacteristically quiet on the social media site.

She explained to fans that she had been taking some time away to “focus on actual real life” after having a “hell of a year”.
