That iconic video saw pop powerhouses Christina Aguilera, Pink, Lil’ Kim and Mya join forces for a sexy track befitting of film director Baz Luhrmann’s visual masterpiece.

Twenty-three years on from that memorable collaboration, Mya, now 44, looks not a day older than she did in the early noughties.
Still performing her hit R&B back catalogue, the US star recently had fans asking how she does it as she sang in a red PVC catsuit.
One commented on Instagram: “The classic pony and body ody!! Girl your stage looks EAT EVERYTIME!! Can’t wait for your next show in Miami.”
Another said: “Just as beautiful as ever.”

A third posted: “The face! The body! The fit! The Song! It’s just EVERYTHING fa me.”
A fourth asked: “Mya, what is your secret on getting thick. Tell the girls this. I’m sure they want to know.”
This caught Mya’s attention, but she revealed there was no quick fix, just hard work and dedication.
She replied: “No secret. Plant power, squats, lunges with weights, & ageing.”
The Grammy award winner, who has released eight studio albums, has 2.1million followers on the platform.
Not only did Lady Marmalade win the US music industry’s greatest honour in the form of a Grammy, it also won an MTV VMA for video of the year.
Mya’s film work has also scooped major gongs with her receiving a Screen Actors Guild Award for her role in 2002 musical Chicago, alongside Catherine Zeta Jones and Richard Gere.
It’s little surprise that staunch vegan Mya has graced numerous ‘sexiest ever’ lists, but she’s certainly a lot more than just a pretty face.
She’s heavily involved in philanthropy having founded The Mya Arts & Tech Foundation for disadvantaged youngsters and in 2022 she became World Animal Protection’s first American celebrity ambassador.
