Culberson and her husband, Ryan Culberson, share four children together: Troy, Owen, Hank, and Cora. Culberson frequently posts about her family life on her Instagram, including her sons’ baseball season and a recent trip to Blue Hills Ranch in McGregor, Texas.

Much of her social media content focuses on her wellness journey. Culberson was diagnosed with Lupus in 2016 and has focused on changing her diet and lifestyle to better manage her condition. She frequently shares recipes with her followers and posts about her morning wellness routine.

Culberson also shared the mantra she wants as her “morning alarm. Or ringtone.”

“Remember today that you’re everything the world needs, bold, brilliant, and utterly unstoppable,” it says. “When the day feels heavy, remind yourself of this. You don’t just exist, you f***ing shine. So pick that head up and don’t let anyone dim your light today. You’re a walking masterpiece. Now go act like it.”

On Culberson’s 38th birthday, Gunvalson shared a heartfelt message on Instagram about her daughter.

“I am so proud of you, and you have continued to awe me and inspire so many others [in] everything you do,” she wrote. “From being an incredible wife, mother, entrepreneur, health coach, nurse, daughter, sister and friend to so many… you continue to make me SO happy for you as you are living your best life.”

Gunvalson has also praised her daughter’s strength as she navigated her Lupus diagnosis.

“So proud of you ! And what an inspiration you are to SO many people – you are paying it forward,” Gunvalson commented on a post about Culberson’s health journey. “I love you so much and so proud of you.”

She reflected on her experience on reality television

Culberson is happy to share parts of her life with her Instagram followers now. Years ago, when her family first began appearing on The Real Housewives of Orange County, she said she had little interest in putting her life out there.

“I didn’t, like, want to be on TV,” she told Bravo. “I didn’t want to be recognizable or anything. I think I’m too simple for that. My mom, on the other hand, just absolutely loved it. Had to do it.”

Ultimately, though, she said she is glad she was on the show long before the age of social media.

“I’m glad the show started when I was 18, because it would have been a lot different if I was on the show younger and social media was a factor,” she said. “I can’t imagine social media as a young teenager to begin with, but add being on television and that would have been so much more stressful. So I think I came in at a good time.”

She hasn’t ruled out ever appearing on reality television again, but she wants to wait until her children are older.

“I never completely emotionally close the door to reality TV,” she said. “I just think that I just wanted to take the time and just kind of step away and have a quieter life for my kids.”
