The Fein Fein Fein craze kicked off in July 2024, after a group of guys posted a video of themselves at a Travis Scott concert.

It was a video by TikTok user @jimmy02_ and was captioned with: “Remember to stop singing when you’re recording at a concert.”

The clip went viral because one of the boys in the video can be heard repeatably singing the word “Fein”, which is part of Playboi Carti’s verse on Travis’ song of the same name.

The video drew attention as the male voice sounded very unusually deep, and drew comparisons to Elvis Presley.

Going viral

The video attracted a huge amount of attention and saw it go viral.

As of September 2024, the original video has had nearly 8M likes

The viral clip then lead to thousands of memes and parodies, with people mocking the boy singing “Fein” over and over again in his deep voice.

The Fe!n collab

Travis Scott teamed up with rising star Playboi Carter in 2023.

He collaborated with the rapper for his track Fe!n, which debuted at No. 5 on the Hot 100.

The tune was the eighth track on Travis’ fourth studio album, Utopia.
